Cowen named Goal and Walmart its high vacation picks, in what it calls an “inequitable” vacation season “the place worth matter most.” Financial institution of America Merrill Lynch mentioned it sees upside to the retailers’ third and fourth quarter same-store gross sales numbers, on the heels of their quarterly earnings.
“We imagine WMT and TGT are higher positioned heading into vacation as we count on each retailers to see continued bodily and digital momentum,” mentioned Cowen retail analyst Oliver Chen.
